Can we make them XFAILs though?  Otherwise we can't roll a distcheck release

I don't consider this a showstopper for libtool 2.0 either. It changes nothing in libtool itself, just improves the test. I'll make them XFAILs.

Also, it may just be that I had a badly configured fortran compiler, and the new tests will pass happily on most boxes where people know how to configure their compiler so it actually works :)
