I also wanted a quick clarification on the FAQ, it says that I can't use post '08 Intel and post '13 AMD processors, so I was just wondering if there was a list of specific chips that can be used.

Thanks

Hi Will,

Because that model use Nvidia chipsets and its interfaces for wlan card are not standard, so it is worthless to support such platform.

Hi all,

I was wondering what issues arise when trying to run on a Macbook 5,1, which from what the FAQ states, I would have thought that since they use 2008 intel processors, they would be able to work with libre firmware. So, in a more succinct form, what are the specific hardware reasons that it isn't supported?

Thanks in advance,

Will
