Thank you for your reply. Well, I would not dare to induce the freeze
on my own X60s in such a way! But having said that, I would say that
my own X60s never froze without me being able to relate the freeze to
some feature (or bug?) of some new kernel.
In these last days, I reverted several times to 4.0.7: my X60s never
froze. I also tried several times 4.1.1 and the latest 4.1.2: it
always did.
Are you running 4.1.2 right now? Any problems?
As far as I could see, no one has reported on this yet.
