Well, I was told by Michael Cronenworth that the result still builds and works on W32. I was about to ask you to confirm that it still
works for you.  If it does and we thus truly don't need PlibC anymore
(at least not for MHD) then I'd say it's a great solution. If there is a real problem with this, then we'll simply revert to before the patches.
