I'm not aware of Mediatomb and their build system. Please look for a
file called "config.log" in the root directory of the source distribution.
Search for the exact error message ("libextractor is..."). You can see
the test that failed finding libextractor a few lines above. Maybe you
can figure out what's wrong this way.
Maybe it isn't the search path, so you have to append special options to
./configure:
./configure --with-extractor=/usr/local
Maybe it's not enabled by default:
./configure --enable-libextractor
But again, this is just a wild guess.
The Mediatomb mailing list/IRC/... might be of better help.
