Summary: browser running as root
Original Submission: When running kportage as a normal user and providing the
root password to gain all privliges, when the browser starts, it is running as
root. Is there a way to change this behavior?
Also I submitted a bug about the corruption of make.conf but the bug
disappeared. Was wondering if it was fixed.

this is fixed. we will have something similar to get root in a future version
(is in our todo).
this is also fixed in our latest release (0.6.1).

the bug about the make.conf file corruption is fixed in kportage-0.5.1-r1.
future versions of kportage will create a menu entry without kdesu.
