Summary:  KPortage hangs after unmerging a package

Original Submission:  After a package has finished being unmerged through 
KPortage, about half the time it just ends up hanging/freezing and I have to 
kill it. While it's hanging like this, it's using 100% of my CPU. So it's 
getting caught in some infinite loop or infinite poll of some sort.
