Thanks for the quick reply. I apologize in advance; I am very new to
this sort of setup and would appreciate any additional help/specific
examples you can give in regards to adding the ftp daemon access within
a jail, thank you.

ftp does not pass through your shell like sftp; it has separate deamons.
However, there are several daemons that understand the jail separator in
a home dir (like /jail/path/./foo) and can chroot those users.
