Hello,

As you may know, the nano development team is readying the 1.2.0
release of GNU nano. If you haven't already tried a recent version of
nano, we have eliminated a large number of bugs in the 1.1 series. Our
most recent release, 1.1.99pre2, should be stable enough for everyday
use. By upgrading you will also get such exiting new enhancements as:

- a .nanorc file to save those flags you always use
- color syntax highlighting, always a crowd pleaser at parties
- multiple file buffers
- search and replace string history
- full Pico compatibilty 'out of the box'

So what are you waiting for! Please consider downloading the most recent
release from:

http://www.nano-editor.org/dist/v1.1

and submit any bug reports you may find to the development team
(address@hidden). For the RPM lover in you, there are now RPMs of
nano 1.1.99pre2 available at:

http://www.nano-editor.org/dist/v1.1/RPMS/

Thank you for your support of nano.
