Email message body not visible

I am unable to display what appears to be MIME-like (IMAP) mail messages
in the Article buffer. If I press "C-u g" they do show but it has lots
of markup and things like:

  Content-type: multipart/related; 
    Boundary="0__=88BBF22DDFDDA19F8f9e8a93df938690918c88BBF22DDFDDA19F"

in the body. The header info (From:, Subject:, To:) appears fine but the
body is sometimes not there. Plain ASCII message seem to work fine.

Recently, I was moved to a Windows 7 box from WinXP (using GNU Emacs
23.3.1, Gnus 5.13) and something seems to have gotten jacked up. All the
files from my old WinXP computer were moved over and I think there's
something wrong in one or more of the files, since it still works on my
other WinXP box.

Any suggestions on how to debug this or what might be wrong? Thanks.
