I had already tried this solution (I simply use
(setq gnus-thread-sort-functions
'((not gnus-thread-sort-by-number)
gnus-thread-sort-by-score))
), but it seems not to work. Is there a problem to put it in my .gnus
file? Do I have to put it in my .emacs one? If so, why?

Thanks for your answer.
