IIRC, fancy split adds tags to check that your search begins and ends on
word boundaries.  i.e. it does something like "\<\\[POSIBLE SPAM\\]:\>".
Since "[" is not a word boundary, that regexp will fail all the time.
Try just searching for "POSIBLE SPAM".
