I'm using GNUS to read mail from MS Exchange via IMAP on a Linux
system. Everything works nicely, except for one very annoying problem.
GNUS caches information in ~/News/agent/nnimap/<imapname>/<folder>/.overview and
.agentview. If I read the mail <folder> in Outlook and then re-look at it in
GNUS, there is a synchronization problem. The cache is out of date and articles
don't exist, etc. Is there a solution for this, either not using the cache or
issuing a command to force a cache update? I tried searching for a solution, but
couldn't find any discussion on this. I've noticed that deleting the
~/News/agent/nnimap/<imapname>/<folder> and re-subscribing to the <folder> fixes
the problem. Perhaps, someone has written the appropriate script to
automatically resynchronize the cache?
Also, has anyone found a way to access the Calendar capability of Outlook
within GNUS?
Thanks
