I think the confusion for me arises from the fact that I'm posting to
the same server with different newsreaders and getting varying header
content. If you compare my first post (xnews via news.individual.net)
and this one (gnus via news.individual.net) there are some peculiar
differences. I suppose, though, that fussing over this kind of thing
is a direct road to madness ...
Anyway, it looks like I have no control over the offending info, so
I'll just have to live with it.
