It might. I'll have to give it a try. Does it get rid of all the
"not uid valid" messages I keep getting? I suspect this is because I
occasionally forget to exit Gnus from home then ssh in remotely and
run it. The "fix" of course, is to just G p and delete the
uidvalidity line.
