We have created a new mailing list, called <address@hidden> for the
announcement of events relating to the GNU Project and the Free Software
Foundation.
<address@hidden> is a moderated, low-traffic announcement mailing
list (although traffic might be slightly greater than typical
<address@hidden> traffic).
Events announced on <address@hidden> will include speeches by
Richard M. Stallman and other GNU folks, and GNU BoFs (Birds-of-a-Feather
sessions) at conferences.
You can subscribe to <address@hidden> by sending a message with the
contents of "subscribe" to <address@hidden> or by visiting
http://www.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/info-gnu-events/.
Traditionally, events are not posted <address@hidden>, and we would like
to keep traffic here to the bare minimum. Therefore, we decided to create a
separate list for events, rather than post them to <address@hidden>.
