Did you use DATESTRING=`echo "$TENAGO;$TODAY"` cvs2cl.pl -r -t -R serman_d -l "-d$DATESTRING" or did you type in the text of DATESTRING into the cvs2cl line?For some reason if it is typed in, the ';' breaks the line up and you get everything like you were seeing, but for me it seemed to work correctly when it was used as a variable.
