Wincvs error: GSSAPI authentication failed: The specified target is unknown or unreachable

I have a fully working linux kerberized CVS implementation. So I can 
checkout, update etc using the gserver implementation. I've started to 
try out some windows clients now, but with little success.

I have the MIT kerberos network identity manager running, with a valid 
ticket. Now when I'm running the same command I run successfully from 
the linux machines, i.e.

cvs -d :gserver:<hostname>:/var/cvs checkout test

I get this message

GSSAPI authentication failed: The specified target is unknown or unreachable

Can anyone shed any light on why this might be happening?
