Hi list,
I was surprised when I noticed the cvs ``log'' command ouput concerning
branches' revision numbers:
sh% cvs status -v Makefile | grep MYBRANCH
MYBRANCH (branch: 1.15.4)
sh% cvs log -h Makefile | grep MYBRANCH
MYBRANCH: 1.15.0.4
Revision on MYBRANCH are using the form 1.15.4.x .
I don't really understand why there is such a difference. I assume
there is either an historical or a technical reason for this and I
would be glad to get an explanation or a pointer to some document
bout this.
Many thanks.
