It may be reasonable to use a fake email address, but not one that's in
a legitimate domain -- that *is* antisocial.  As per RFC 2606, the four
top-level domains .test, .example, .invalid, and .localhost are reserved
for testing and example purposes and are thus guaranteed to never be
assigned.  Likewise for example.com, example.net, and example.org.  So,
if you insist on making up a fake email address, please use one of those
domains.
