Yep, I can assume your on a windows box.

Clinet: some windows version <- I guess
Server: no idea here <- I guess

CVSNT does not like network drives. It says so somewhere in the docs.

Don't use it.

I had this issue when I started using TortoiseCVS. It installs CVSNT.

So I started investigating this, and played around with CVSNT and then
found CVSHOME.

I pulled the latest binaries from cvshome.org, set them up and have no
troubles with my sandbox being on a network drive, or a mapped drive for
that matter.

But my CVSROOT is on our linux box at the office (my workstation is at
home, XP Pro)

That's all I can add to this.

Walter
