Module based Security access in CVS

Hi,

In my team we using CVS as our version control system. We are using PServer for authentication. I have about 130 users in my system who have a unique user Id. All the 130 users are aliased to one system user. I have added all of them using "cvs passwd -a -r" command.

I have close to 135 different modules in my CVS Server. My CVS Server is running on windows 2000 server. It is a dedicated server for CVS purpose. Our client systems are all windows based ones.

My current problem is I need to set up security such that I need to have either read, write or no access to different modules for different users.

For example say If I have projects ProjectA, ProjectB,...ProjectN and users user1, user2, user3,...userN. I need to set up authentication in similar lines like below.

1. user1 will have read, write access to project A
2. user2 will have read access to projectA
3. user 3 will have no access to ProjectA

If any one have faced / set up some similar module based access based on users in CVS kindly let me know.

Best Regards,
Harish
