Maybe this should also be done:
1. Uncommenting (or adding) and editing the cvspserver line in
/etc/inetd.conf:
cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/bin/cvs -f
--allow-root=someCVSrepository --allow-root=anotherCVSrepository
2. (Re)Starting the inetd thus starting the CVS pserver service
