Yes, many people have, and they've all come here looking for help
because it doesn't work.  Network file systems are notoriously
unreliable, and that's not something you want for your repository. 
Also, Windows permissions and Unix permissions are fundamentally
incompatible.  Samba does the best it can to map between them, but it's
not perfect, so you end up with strange permission problems that are
hard to understand and solve.  If you insist on doing it anyway, I
suggest you look at the Samba web site -- they have (or at least used to
have) some suggestions for using it with CVS.
