Yes, but not the way you want. There is no "forwarding" from one CVS
server to another -- the user has to specify the correct server in the
CVSROOT when doing the initial checkout (you can use the -d global
option on the command line to do that rather than changing your $CVSROOT
environment variable). Once you have a working directory checked out,
however, CVS remembers the CVSROOT that was used to check it out and
uses it for all subsequent operations, so you don't need to keep track
of what server different directories came from.
