thank you. i will try to do that :)
out of curiosity (or desperation ;) I installed WinCVS just to see if it
could tell me anything
this is weird :
C:\Program Files\GNU\WinCvs 1.3>.\cvs co -c
CVSROOT CVSROOT
cvsconfig -a CVSROOT config
[...]
modules CVSROOT modules
however i want to use the cvshome.org version but
that still tells me
C:\Program Files\GNU\WinCvs 1.3>h:\bin\cvs co -c
cvs [checkout aborted]: failed to open the modules file
could it be my CVSROOT environment variable is
C:\Program Files\GNU\WinCvs 1.3>set CVSROOT
CVSROOT=h:\usr\Repository
other commands work ok though :(
