creating a module

I'm looking for good documentation (on-line) for building modules.

I have two modules: src and projectA.  src, is all the java code for all our
projects.  projectA are teh build scripts, web directories, etc associated
with project A.

I'd like to create an alias module that checks out projectA and a subset of
src, but places the subset of src INSIDE the projectA directory.

Is that possible?
