migrating from old CVS repository to new one

My company has two CVS repositories in use.

There is an old one on a server which has a 
single project still using it. All their work
is contained within a single module.

Everybody else uses the new one on a central 
machine set up using pserver. The new repository
does not have that module in it.

How could I go about migrating the one module
from the old cvs repository to the new one?
I want to preserve the historical information
from the old repository to the new one.

Can I tar up the old module and untar it in
the new repository?
