You don't.  Unless you're deleting it because it was a complete mistake
and never should have been there in the first place, a better
alternative is to check it out and "cvs rm" all of the files.  That way
you can still get to the historical information should the need arise.

The best way to do that is to create a module with the new name that
maps to the existing directory name.  That lets people check it out
using the new name without screwing up anyone who already has it checked
out under the old name.
