They are.  If you look at the log messages (with "cvs log"), you will
see the actual user name rather than cvsuser.  The actual user name is
available in the CVS internal variable $USER (not to be confused with
the environment variable of the same name which is set to the system
user instead); you need to pass that to your loginfo script and modify
the script to use it.  See:
