[Q] Merge and option -kk

Hello,

I am a little bit unhappy about merging problem and the CVS tags like $Id$
and so on. Hence I started playing with the option -kk.

If I checkout out a module with

cvs checkout -r HEAD -kk module

no tag is expanded in any file. Fine, I like it.

Then I start to update via

cvs update -d -P -kk -j module_branch_tag

and every file, which is merged has expanded tags and mostly they are the
source for conflikts. It is a bug or do I fail?
