Sounds like more of a DNS problem then a CVS problem.

Try using the IP address of the CVS server instead of it's name, and see if that makes your problem go away.  If it does, then take a look at why your NT client is having difficulty resolving network names.

Subject: Cvs connection : UNKNWN HOST

Hi all,

I'd like to connect from my CVS Client on NT to CVS Server on Linux, but i
always get the message "Unknown host" .
Both computer are in the LAN.
And i even can connect from another NT Client to the CVS Server.
Does anyone know where this problem comes from? Or which configuration files i
may have to check.
Anyway i'm wondering that i couldn't find this error in the docs ..
