It'll work fine of course, although everytime a
developer makes a commit, we need the dev web
server to get a fresh export for the test. I can
spend a while coding and save the hassle of
introducing the idea of the exporting to them
and streamline things.

I've found the info with a snoop - it must be in 
the gzip stream of files as directory info. So I'll
have to get the module names from the temp directory -
which is messy - anyone any better ideas to find the
module to export?

Why?  Is there some reason the method shown in "Keeping a checked outcopy"
