I checked a few things into CVS:
- Fixed jack bug where port values were being freed, when really just
the array should be (jack ref docs are erroneous/confusing on this
matter)
- Improved filter turn off optimization by adding a minimum audible
filter Q threshold. Modulating the filter around the threshold is much
less noticeable now (keeping the same Filter cutoff of 16k).
- Made the sample sanity check code much more tolerant to small loops. I
set these values really low (2 sample loop, 1 sample padding) as they
seem to work and will provide for maximum amount of compatibility. No
more out of tune instruments or loops not looping when they should :)
Some things that remain:
- don't reset phase of LFO when its frequency is modulated
- implement loop until release for samples
- stereo sync of samples (using the "linked" field of sample info)
Thats all I can think of right now. Cheers!
