Hi,
I reproduced this error today. I've installed the 0.5.2 library and python
package for amd64 architecture from the sources described in
https://launchpad.net/~igraph/+archive/ppa and got the same error:
Python 2.5.4 (r254:67916, Nov 19 2009, 22:14:20)
