Sure, I wrote a web site for the whole configuration. One of the values
is static or DHCP address. You would pull up the web page - enter in
your ip and click the generate boot disk button. Pop the floppy in the
drive and it will write the ks.cfg out to a floppy. You could have open
an existing file, amend the ip address in the ks.cfg file and then close
it.

Subject: [Howto-kickstart] Anaconda adjustments
Hi Kickstarters,
A little question: I want to install a system using a kickstart profile.
Now,
I want the system to use networking with a static IP adres. I don't want
to edit the ks.cfg everytime with the right IP address, but I want
Anaconda
to raise a window asking me for it. I have already gone through the
Anaconda
code, but I can't seem to find the piece that handles this. Do anyone
have a clue
or tips on how to handle this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
