yeah, that frontend was started by me long time ago before I got
involved with the quite demanding implementation of the XML based menu
features...

I actually stopped developing it, since I expected someone to either
take over the GUI part, and I was also rethinking my approach to use
plain C... (when the XML stuff become reality, IMHO the better approach
would be to use a scripting language with the corresponding gtk/gnome
language bindung as this would allow for faster development...)

well anyway, should no one have finished a GUI project for linux by the
end of february 2002, I'll take over the lead again... ;)
