brew install fail Mac OSX 10.12.4

Hi-

I’m new to Octave and I’m trying to install it on a Mac running 10.12.4.  I’m using the “Simple Installation Instructions” from the wiki page.  The command from the terminal >>brew install octave  runs for a while and then gives an error about the jbig2dec-0.12.tar.gz file saying the SHA256 checksum doesn’t match:

To retry an incomplete download, remove the file above.

I’ve tried deleting the file and running the install command again and it gives the same result.  I also downloaded the file from a browser and copied it, same checksum.  What did I not do correctly?
