Enlarging Figures

I was having issues with the location of plot titles, which was corrected by using fltk, but I have a problem with this protocol.  It sets the display size too small to be able to read the axis values, and when you expand the plot window to full screen the plot area doesn't change as with the root plotting protocol.  I tried setting the screensize parameter, but that didn't help, and I don't see a property that will help.  I also tried to use the autosize (A) icon on the plot, but nothing happened, or I didn't know what to do.

My next challenge will be to file and to print my plot.  I looked that up, and I  see references to ghostscript, like everyone should know what that means.  Is there a straightforward to save a figure in a viewable and printable file?
