Re: error in running build_packages.m in Octave 3.8 MXE

I have successfully installed octave-forge packages on Win 7 32 bit, Win 7 64
bit and Win 8.1 64 bit.
I am not sure that why you failed to install octave forge packages by 
build_packages.m.

I have an archived my built componets and placed:
http://www.tatsuromatsuoka.com/octave/Eng/Win/Files/OctaveForge_3.8.1.7z
(File size 17,348,096 bytes)

Download OctaveForge_3.8.1.7z and extract it using 7-zip file manager [1].
Place the contents keeping folder structure.

Start octave and execute from below from the prompt
"pkg rebuild"

If you want to a package to be auto-load,
"pkg rebuild <package name> -auto"
