Agree, EOF makes NO sense, unless a text file.

Are you certain XML's header does NOT contain the file length?

The "header" of an XML file has no info on the file lenght, and there is
no EOF character, unless I'm missing something obvious.



It is a markup structure so there is a tag to close the structure
