Hello All,

Is there a roadmap to a smooth installation of Octave 3.6.4 on Ubuntu 12.04-64?
 The
contents of the tarball I downloaded compiled well and I managed to installing
some
packages I need (odebvp, fpl, gnuplot, plot and a couple more) but I'm having a
hell
of a time to install others (odepkg, general, linear-algebra, etc). All failed
attempts are related to that mkoctfile script (see below), but the file is
where it
is supposed to be.

Thanks,

Fausto
