Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the fast help.  Unfortunately, this still isn't working for me.

brew update && brew upgrade ran without any errors.
homebrew/science was already tapped.
gfortran-4.8.0 was already installed.

However, when I tried to install octave it said there was no available
formula.

I ran brew doctor, which said that suite-sparse was an unlinked keg.  After
linking it, I'm still told that there's no available formula for octave...

Any ideas?
