installing packages warnings; "can't clean up"

installing packages warnings; "can't clean up" |

When I am trying to install packages I get an error that says
>>"warning: couldn't clean up after my self: Permission denied"
this pops up but when I pkg list to find out what packages are installed it
says that my package was installed. What does this error mean?
