Thanks for the help. I'm having a bit of a hard time installing the Octave updates onto a Windows Vista system. Do I install it the same way that I install the packages?

Please always "reply to all" to keep the conversation of the
mailin-glist. I do not know how you install octave on windows but
there's many people on the mailing list that use it and may be able to
give you directions if you can't find it on google.
