Matlab is not free software. You may defend Matlab users to whatever
extent you feel necessary. Frankly, I am surprised to learn that a
goal of the Octave project is to promote the use of Matlab and the
Mathworks website over free alternatives. Please excuse my crocodile
tears while I morn the trials and tribulations of proprietary software
users. Frankly, I just don't see why any of us should care what
horrors Matlab users choose to endure at the hands of Mathworks.
