Hi,

I attached the code and linked to the test file.
The command I used to run the script is:

filter_out('test.txt','test_out.txt',1,2,10000,150000,10000,150000)

(1,2 are the column indexes and the last 4 numbers are the bounds:
minX,maxX,minY,maxY)
