A GNU/Linux scientific and engineering plotting program that can be run
from an Octave program, from a C program, from a terminal command line,
or by itself can be found here:
http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/gsegrafix
The program uses an anti-aliased GNOME canvas which results in smoother
curves than would be obtained without anti-aliasing. However, the
program is not linked to Octave, so it must read data files. The program
can be run from an Octave program by using an Octave function which
specifies the names of data files and plot parameters such as title,
axis labels, axis type, etc. A function for this purpose is specified in
the program home page and in the program help files.
The home page for the program is:
http://www.nongnu.org/gsegrafix/
and the download page is:
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/gsegrafix/
Any comments about usefulness with Octave?
Thanks.
