I will take a stab at this one.  I am a newbie and hope that this could be a 
chance to provide some help.  Could it be the "gnu" that is before the "plot" 
that is giving the error + the spaces between "1.19184 and e-14"?  When I run 
gnuplot and type "plot 0.60606060606 1.19184e-14" it works but "gnu plot 
0.60606060606 1.19184  e-14" gives an invalid command and invalid character 
error.
