Hello

What is a gnuplot-4.2.2 package?
There is not such a package in the octave-forge.

What do you want to do?
Do you want to use the gnuplot-4.2.2 as a graphic backend?
If you want to use the gnuplot-4.2.2 as a graphic backend,
you might mislead things that you should do.

Please tell us your platform ( e.x. Windows-XP pro cygwin, Windows Vista
Native, Mac OSX Tiger,
Linux-Vine etc.).
Otherwise, no one cannot reply any further.

Regards

Tatsuro
